Vanguard Builders featured on the Rachael Ray Show. We remodeled 3 apartments in Jersey city for the Rachael Ray Show's luxury apartment giveaway.  Each apartment had a distinct theme for HGTV designers  Lisa Laporta, John Gidding, and Taniya Nayak to design around. Lisa Laporta had to design her apartment for a "single parent & child".  John Gidding's apartment had to be design for the "empty nesters", and Taniya Nayak's  design a colorful and refreshing apartment for a twenties couple. Of course Vanguard Builders was there to bring the visions to reality.

2nd Floor Addition and complete renovation.  We completely gutted this house the only to stay was the front porch, the first floor joist, and most of the first floor exterior walls.  The second floor addition required the we added 7 extra 30"x30" footing and piers under the house to support the additional load.  After that we removed the roof and completed the re-arranging of falls on the first floor.  After the first floor walls were set we were able to add the 2nd Floor and complete the walls and roof for the 2nd floor.  We installed Anderson 400 series windows and doors, and sided the outside with Certainteed Cedar Impressions on the front face with double 4 monogram siding on the rest of the house.

Vanguard Builders made our dreams a reality with the addition he added to our house. The project was a complete renovation of the existing first floor of the house and an addition of a second floor. As you can see from the before and after pictures, what used to exist and what exists today are two totally different houses. Besides just doing the job, Josh really went above and beyond our expectations. Whether it was making a suggestion to improve on the architects plans, or adding things during the renovation we hadn't thought to add before we started. Things like a tray ceiling in the master bedroom, or making the hallway on the second floor wider, as well as completely reworking the upstairs master bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet to accommodate our needs, wants, and desires. It's hard to put into words how we feel about the finished product, but don't hesitate to use Vanguard Builders for your next project, you won't be disappointed.

Vanguard Builders did a very nice job on our siding project.  They have worked on several other projects on our house and have done very nice work.  The workers are polite and always well mannered, and always completed the job.
